October 4–November 8
This Christmas, The Bridge is partnering with Operation Christmas Child to bring joy and the love of Jesus to children around the world.
Operation Christmas Child, a project of Samaritan’s Purse, delivers gift-filled shoeboxes to children in need. Each box is an opportunity to bless a child with fun and practical gifts while helping share the hope of the Gospel.
How Can I Participate?
1. Get a Shoebox
Pick up an Operation Christmas Child shoebox at The Bridge or use a standard-sized shoebox of your own.
2. Choose a Child
Decide whether you'd like to pack your box for a boy or girl and choose an age group:
Ages 2–4
Ages 5–9
Ages 10–14
3. Fill Your Box
Pack your shoebox with a combination of fun, practical, and personal items. Consider including:
Toys & Fun
Small toys, balls, dolls, stuffed animals, jump ropes, puzzles, or games.
School Supplies
Pencils, crayons, markers, notebooks, coloring books, and other supplies.
Hygiene Items
Toothbrushes, washcloths, combs, brushes, and other appropriate personal-care items.
Personal Items
Small accessories, clothing, or other special gifts that a child would enjoy.
Tip: Start with one "wow" item—a special toy or gift that will immediately bring a smile—and build your box around it!

4. Pray Over Your Box
As you pack, take time to pray for the child who will receive your box. Pray that they would experience God's love and know that they are seen, valued, and loved.
5. Bring It to The Bridge
Bring your completed shoebox to The Bridge between October 4 and Sunday, November 8.
All boxes must be dropped off by Sunday, November 8.
More Than a Shoebox
A shoebox may seem simple, but it can have a lasting impact.
Each box gives us an opportunity to put God's love into action and be part of something reaching children and families around the world. As a church family, we can come together to give generously, pray intentionally, and share the love of Jesus beyond our community.
Ready to Pack a Box?
Pick up a box October 4. Fill it with love. Pray for the child who will receive it. Then bring it back to The Bridge by November 8.
