Know the facts. It’s one thing to think you know something. You can even come across to some people as arrogant. But the things that we know, as followers of Jesus Christ, are clearly laid out for us in the Word of God.
We talked about yesterday, how Jobe made it very clear. I know that my Redeemer lives, and we can have that same assurance. Today, I want you to know this, according to the book of Second Timothy, chapter one, verse 12, Paul says this, but I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed. And I’m convinced that he is able to guard until that day, what he has entrusted to me. The Lord has entrusted to us his gift of eternal life, who keeps me sane? Who keeps me right with God? Is it my own righteousness, my own ability? Not at all. I know this. It’s not what I do, it’s not what I accomplished. It’s not how long I hold on or hold out, It’s Jesus.
Paul made it clear, I know, and who I have believed. You need to make sure that your foundation is Jesus Christ, and know that it is not your ability to keep yourself but his ability to hold you in his powerful, everlasting arms.
In the book of john chapter number four, we read this starting with verse number 41. And many more believed because of his word, they said to the woman, it is no longer because of what you said, that we believe, for we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this is indeed the Savior of the world.
You can know that there is a savior and that that Savior is Jesus Christ. The people of Sumeria made a clear testimony, that their faith was not in the words of some person who had a wonderful message to share. Their faith was in the one that they heard for themselves. He is the one that we know can save us from our sins. Do you know the Savior? Walk with him daily, enjoy his company and serve him faithfully, your Redeemer lives and he is holding you in his everlasting arms.
